Loud but smooth
Some quick comments: 1) The color shown is accurate--Gray--in spite of the fact that it's labeled as "Navy." I ordered Navy and it it is definitely Gray, exactly as shown in the pictures. 2) The pants feel smooth and cool to the touch, as expected for a nylon-based fabric. But be aware--these pants are LOUD. The fabric is thin, but while walking--it sounds like you are wearing ski pants. Sort of surprising. I'm not sure if that somehow settles down or softens after wearing and washing. But if noisy pants bother you, these are not for you. 3) The pants are comfortable--a relaxed fit, roomy, and cool to the touch. The elastic waistband is quite robust, as shown in the pictures. Probably could have achieved a good fit with half the height of the elastic. But it's not uncomfortable.
