They just last
The laces lasted 4 years, I’ve never had the durability in a pair of boots, the waterproof lining lasted to the end, the boots have over 1000 days on them and the tread is getting iffy……. Great product time for a new pair.

Uncomfortable, Stiff, NOT waterproof.
Very disappointing. The shoe is extremely stiff and uncomfortable, even during a short walk. Breathability is also very poor; my feet felt hot and trapped while wearing them.
More importantly, the shoe does not perform as advertised in wet conditions. During a 15-minute walk on a lightly snowy path, melted snow penetrated the toe box area on both shoes. By the end of the walk my toes and socks were soaked.
For a product marketed as waterproof, this level of water penetration is unacceptable.

Hi there, thank you so much for sharing such a detailed review of the Kopec Mid GTX Boot. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience didn’t match expectations, especially regarding comfort, breathability, and waterproof performance. That’s not the experience we want for our guests. The Kopec Mid GTX is designed to be a light, supportive, all‑season boot for varied terrain, and because of that structure, it can feel stiffer than some of our other footwear models. That said, we understand that this level of stiffness may still feel uncomfortable for some wearers. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ve shared it with our product team to help inform future improvements. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review.

Waterproof
Totally wet on my feet during rainy day is not worth for that money

Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience with the Kopec Mid GTX Boot. We’re sorry to hear your feet got wet during a rainy day, especially given how important reliable protection is in those conditions. The GORE‑TEX membrane used in this model is designed to keep water out while allowing moisture from the inside to escape, but its performance can be affected by factors like water entering from the collar, being fully submerged, or the need for periodic DWR renewal to help the surface shed water. If you’re still experiencing moisture inside the boot after accounting for those factors, we’d really like to take a closer look. Our after-sale team can help assess what’s going on and explore next steps if you’d like to share more details or photos. https://arcteryx.com/us/en/help/product-service/service-request

I love mine!
Love my Kopec Boot. It is both light and rugged. The waterproofing is subperb and the traction is great even on snowy/icy surfaces. My new favorite go-to shoe!

Not pleased
This is my personal opinion: do NOT buy these shoes! I purchased a pair to walk my dog around city trails during the winter when it's colder outside with snow. While the shoes perform well on slippery surface and keep my feet dry/warm, they are so stiff that I've gotten blisters and my feet and toes literally ache after just 3-4 kms. I also have to always double knot the laces or they constantly come undone due to a poor lacing system. I've used them for about 2 months now, so they should have broken in by now, but haven't. My initial excitement has turned to total dissatisfaction. Sorry.

Hi there, thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Kopec Mid GTX Boot! We’re glad to hear that the boots provided good traction on slippery surfaces and kept your feet warm and dry. That said, we’re truly sorry to hear that the boots didn't meet expectations, and that the boots' stiffness caused blisters and you found discomfort at your toes during your walks, as well as frustration with the lacing system. The Kopec Mid GTX Boot was designed as a mid‑height hiking boot that provides cushioning and support during fast‑and‑light movement over shifting, uneven terrain, rather than prolonged use on city trails or hard-packed urban paths. As a result, the support and stiffness that help with stability on technical terrain can feel less forgiving during longer walks on flatter surfaces. Regarding the lacing, the Kopec Mid GTX features round laces, which are chosen for durability compared to flatter laces. However, we understand that they can be more prone to loosening. As you’ve experienced, double‑knotting is typically the most effective way to keep them secure. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ve shared it with our design team to help improve future products. Thank you again for taking the time to leave a review!
