Knit High Rise Pleated Wide Leg Pants

I love these pants so much I purchased them in black, navy, and gray. Love that they’re all cotton. The knit is a bit heavy so might be too warm for summer, but good for the other seasons. The fabric is soft and drapes nicely. The pull-on waistband is elastic but is smooth, without the dreaded gathered look. They do run very large and very long. The first item I purchased was in small short, my usual size. I could step on the hem and they were too wide. But the extra small short fits perfectly. The only downside is that they can bag a bit at the knee.

I got these to be a go-to throw on, casual but polished pant. Ultimately returned. Pros: 100% cotton, comfortable sizing. Cons: very basic cut- these look like cheap Target lounge pants on. Thin material. The cotton knit seems nice but is only appropriate for lounge/pjs. After reading reviews, I ordered them in a short medium- I’m 5’5” 150 with a long torso but wide hips. The fit was great, perfect in the high waist (I’m 30”) and not too snug. Unfortunately the thin knit is not flattering at all. It truly looked like pj pants on and looked very cheap. I love lands end cotton but I don’t even think hand washing could save these from pilling. I bought these as an easy travel/errand pant but am returning as these are too expensive to be so thin and frumpy looking.
