Wildflower Embroidered Dress

I ordered this for a spring wedding, and I am really pleased with it. The embroidery is just beautiful and the style is so pretty. It's slightly stretchy and fits comfortably; the liner is about knee length on me and the ruffle hits about 2" below the knee (I am 5'4") so it's a perfect length, even for a shorter person like me, who hates maxi dresses! The dress is very elegant and well-made and will be perfect for this wedding and any other occasions that come up!

I kept transferring this from my wish list to my shopping bag for a couple of weeks. I was hesitant due to the cost. I’m so glad I decided to purchase it! I’ve been on the hunt for a dress for a wedding I’m attending. As soon as I tried this one on, I knew it was “it”. I find this dress to be super flattering on me. The top of the dress has a bit of stretch but not a lot. There is a zipper closure on the back. For reference, I wear a sz 14W tops and sz 16W or 18W bottoms. I bought this dress in a 1X and it fits perfectly. I will say, the sleeves are a tad on the snug side but nothing terrible. So, if you have an aversion to that it might be something you want to keep in mind.

Love this dress! I have an hourglass figure but definitely bigger in tummy and ample chest (42F) :) and this dress is very flattering! The under fabric and embroidered, netted overlay both have a little stretch to them, which makes it very comfortable when standing and sitting. It’s light enough to be comfortable for summer but still has good structure and fabric lays well. Also the embroidery is really pretty and well done and colors are vibrant but classy. I prefer sleeveless (and to layer a shrug over it), so had sleeves removed at my neighborhood tailor (~$40 additional) but if you keep the sleeves on they fit ok for me, maybe a little on the tighter side if you have fuller arms like me, but again I don’t really like sleeves on dresses so that may have colored my perception. I got the black (because that’s mostly all I wear), but needed something for an afternoon/evening Texas fiesta, so this fit the bill perfectly! I’m pairing with sandals for the fiesta but will also wear it to more formal events for sure, with open toed heels.
