What it is: A luminous satin lip color with an intensely pigmented longwear formula that makes a lasting impact.

What it does: This satin lipstick has an intense pigment that creates medium-to-high coverage and stays in place all day long. Go-to lipstick!

This lipstick is awesome. It glides on smooth, is light, and the color is so pretty. I got the color rosewood and I just love it. I love the outside design and the magnetic closure.

Not for sensitive lips

I got allergic reaction with the new kisses satin lipstick - my lips are peeling and have become dry. If you have sensitive skin/lips, you may want to avoid this lipstick formula. I used Burberry lipstick ( the one with the silver packaging) in the past and did not get allergic reaction. But the one with the gold packaging, I had reaction.

Not like the past Burberry lippie

I really missed some of the old Burberry products in the classy silver packaging- especially some of the colors of the eye and lip items-the English Rose lip for which I never found a dupe... I bought this in the Deep English Rose and am disappointed. I don't care for the gold and it feels flimsier. The magnetic close on mine does not work well like the old products and the lipstick itself is slightly loose within the pacakaging so care is needed to apply and not break. I don't know if I received a defective one or if they are all that way. I could overlook it all if the color was nice but instead of the lovely old English Rose, this is straight-up orange on me. Disappointing.

still deciding

Purchased five of these at the sale price to figure out which color I liked as they are unavailable in my store. I just got the Delicate Rose today and I am wearing it with the Nars Cap D-Ail lip liner. This lipstick is supposed to be a satin but feels more like a matte on my lips – I like the color but on the fence about the formula because it’s a bit dry.

Mixed Thoughts

I’ve used quite a few different high-end lipsticks, and this is not one of my top pics. Coverage is OK. Lasting power is OK. Hydration is OK. I probably wouldn’t give this a five star rating. Not certain I will purchase it again. Was so hopeful it would be great since it’s Burberry!!

Looks great, but doesn’t last

You want to love this product, but it falls short. It’s beautiful, aesthetic, and the packaging is great and it looks good in a trinket tray or makeup dish. However, its design falls has flaws and the lipstick itself does not last. It is moisturizing, but I end up needing to layer other products after about 30 mins. I wouldn’t buy again for myself.
