Kissen Lipstick Crayon

The color is buildable and it feels so hydrating and good to wear.

I was so excited by the description of these, thinking that Monika Blunder's line had finally come to give me the whole range of clean beauty products, including a semi-matte lipstick. The concept of these is fantastic, an easily applicable lipstick in a wide range of shades. I ended up getting a few colors, thinking it would be my go-to lipstick: Valentina, Florence, and Marlene. While these apply rather smoothly, and feel velvety, there's absolutely no hold or longevity. And that's without even eating or drinking. I applied it with one of MB's liners and still, no lasting power. It vanishes in less than an hour, and that's just not worth the price. I ended up returning Valentina even though that color is such a gorgeous natural red, the red a newbie to reds would wear daily. Marlene turned out to be an excellent under eye color corrector, surprisingly, because somehow these actually last on the skin vs. lips, because I also kept Florence as my blush because sadly the MB blush tints are basically four exact shades of rust orange. Nothing cool toned for us fair skin girlies. Florence on my cheeks is the perfect cool toned pink because on my lips it's such an orange pink (totally unflattering). All in all, if you're looking for a high quality pigmented and lasting lipstick, skip this one.

This was smearing everywhere. Hate it and waste of my money

Rich, creamy color glides on like a dream and wears comfortably all day. The satin finish flatters without drying, and the shade range feels elevated yet wearable. Ideal for a quick swipe of polish that still feels nourishing and luxe—an everyday staple with a glam twist.

I purchased this lipstick in the Annamaria shade. It's a bit more brown than I expected it to be and a bit more matte on the lips. However the colour lasts well and is smooth to apply. Great value in the sale and I might buy again with a different shade.

I’m so disappointed with this lip crayon in Annamaria. The colour is very orangey, not at all the pink tone of the swatch. I have very cool-toned skin and anything orange looks awful on me. I’m sure it’s lovely on someone with a warmer skin tone but I can’t wear it. It’s certainly not a universal colour. So beware, fellow cool-toned people, the swatch is very very misleading.
