Details & care

What it is: A woodsy, refillable scent in a bottle with distinctive black lacquer, engraved on each side with a representation of the Achilles shield.

Fragrance story: On turbulent seas, an inescapably transient pirate ship braves black waters, leagues deep in mystery. Black Phantom MEMENTO MORI, created by perfumer Sidonie Lancesseur, reveals its hidden treasures to the curious nose in waves. Rum accord from Martinique, akin to pirates' water, spikes the scent of strong coffee at its heart, balanced by vetiver essence. A deadly bite of cyanide accord hides menacingly, like the smile from death itself. Smile back as sugar cane and dark, creamy sandalwood assures a trying journey holds a sweet reward.

Notes: Rum, coffee, cyanide.

Black Phantom is the BEST!

By Kilian is my favorite brand for fragrance, so many beautiful, unique scents. Black Phantom is an amazing gourmand scent and it's totally addictive. The bottle is so beautiful. Black Phantom is probably my favorite scent and I am a fragrance collector. It is pricey but so worth it! Highly, highly recommend.

Do Not Buy Into The Hype

The scent is very sweet and it dries down into a lactonic chocolate that smells like a toddler who spilled milk on their shirt. Reading the ingredient list I am shocked that the pricing is as high as it is since most of the materials are synthetic.

GET IT!

This fragrance is so warm, so sexy, so intoxicating. Dessert goodness. I had a sample first, within a week I turned around and grabbed the full bottle. Definitely will repurchase when this bottle runs out.

Attention Grabber

This fragrance is a delicious masculine beast ! I love it I just wish it was offered in 3.3 oz especially for the price , it’s still worth it though since it lasts forever and you only need a few sprays to get through the day. Can’t wait to get more from the house of kilian , I’m thinking of getting “intoxicating” next or “moonlight in heaven”

An absolutely gorgeous scent!!

Personally, I love this scent I'm a man who collects fragrances of all kinds and I have more than I could ever wear. However, this fragrance always stands out in my collection due to the unique and intoxicating smell it has. Honestly this thing is absolutely gorgeous it smells like dark chocolate with coffee and rum that leaves a beautiful scent trail. I've seen some people on here saying it's not worth the price but I feel like it is, as it's the perfect evening fragrance for men in my eyes and it's everything you could want from a niche fragrance, it's long lasting, has amazing projection and is very unique but in a loveable way. This is a must have.
