What it is: A mild yet effective toner that helps refine surface texture while providing the ideal preparation for your moisturizer.

What it does: It's pH-balanced for optimal comfort and won't over-dry or strip skin of its natural oils. Apricot kernel oil moisturizes and softens skin while helping it retain clarity and suppleness; avocado oil, known to be the most moisturizing of any fruit oil, helps restore the natural moisture of the skin; and squalane, a signature Kiehl's ingredient, restores skin's natural moisture balance to keep it extra soft and supple.
How to use: After cleansing, moisten a cotton pad with the toner and apply to the face, avoiding the immediate eye area. Follow with your moisturizer.

Less blackheads using this toner
My esthetician suggested I switch to Kiehl's toner and moisturizer - even though the spa she works at doesn't sell it. It was SUCH good advice! I'm 38 and have average skin. I use this toner right after I wash my face or shower and it does a great job closing my pores. Tight pores mean less gunk in them. Less gunk means beautiful skin! Plus its a great price.

Do not understand how there’s one good review. This product is terribly. Drying for someone with dry skin. And super itchy. Lately I’ve been noticing Keihl’s products are either too drying too oily.

Hydrating
After trying many, many toners, I have found this to be one of my favorites so far. It is very soothing and mild, and I love that it is fragrance free. It hydrates but doesn't leave any residue on your skin, and preps perfectly for serum or moisturizer. I have fairly dry sensitive skin and this is like a drink that my skin needs in order to absorb my skin care products better. Love this stuff!

I love this facial toner! It is reasonably priced which is just the tip of the iceberg! It really gives you an extra clean feeling after washing your face and doesn't dry out your skin which is awesome. I gave it 4 stars because it doesn't cause any change in the appearance of skin such as helping skin stay clear or minimizing pores like some toners do. However, it is still awesome and I will probably always continue to use it solely for how clean it makes my face feel! I like that is unscented too and liquidy. It doesn't make your face feel bogged down. Definitely recommend.

Toner or light moisturizer?
My sister recommended this product to me, she is a confirmed fan and has been for years. I am more interested in a toner that continues the facial cleaning process, this one seems to be more of a light moisturizer. I will continue using it but likely will not purchase again.

Mild toner
I love how mild this toner is. No stinging my face when I use it. I use it morning and night. My face feels soft and clean after. Great value too.

Very pleased
I don't wear much makeup, so my toner needs are not that great. However, after washing my face, I like to use this toner to make sure my face is very clean. It doesn't dry your face as some toners do, and just a little on a cotton ball is all that is needed. After using, I moisturize with the Ultra Facial Cream, and my face feels and looks great.
