What it is: A unique scrub and natural exfoliator that utilizes small pieces of actual pineapple and papaya fruit as well as finely ground scrub grains.
Who it's for: Ideal for all skin types, except those prone to acne and very sensitive or irritated skin.
What it does: It exfoliates the skin gently and naturally. It contains natural vitamin oils to further enhance the superb skin effects of this special treatment.
How to use: Dab a small amount of exfoliating scrub onto clean, damp skin. Gently massage in an upward, circular motion. Rinse off.

Best face wash ever!
The Pineapple Papaya scrub is the best face wash/scrub I have ever used! I have tried a few others from Kiehls and other brands, but keep going back to this one! The smell is so yummy, and the scrub feels so great on your face! It cleans and exfoliates so nicely. I always feel like I glow after washing my face! I would highly recommend it to anyone!!!

Not quite what I thought
I love Kiehl products, and was excited to try this out, but must admit Im disappointed. It doesn't seem to have much "Omph" to it, very few scrubbing particles and my face doesn't seem any smoother after using it. I've even left it on my face for up to 8 min, thinking that might help. I've used it 4 times now, and won't be purchasing it again.

Not quite what I thought

Not really an exfoliator
Kind of disappointed with this product. It doesn't really do a good job as an exfoliator, but it doesn't quite work as a cleanser either. I also took the recommendation of using it more like a mask and letting it settle after I've worked the product onto my skin. That was disappointing, too. The main redeeming factor is that it leaves your face nice and soft. This product is basically for people with "normal" skin.

This does not smell like pineapple or papaya, or fruity at all for that matter. It's a very bad smell that I can't describe. It's also ineffective.

Leaves skin soft
This gentle exfoliator definitely leaves my skin soft. The fine grains in it are definitely not harsh, and there is no enzymatic burning/tingling sensation from the product. The medium the grains are in actually feels very moisturizing and soothing. I'm not sure about the long-term effects of using this product; I still feel like I'm going to go get a facial and the esthetician is going to tell me I need to be exfoliating. It's just such a gentle product. But my skin does feel silky soft after using it. One beef I have is, I'm not sure I'm using it correctly. The directions say apply to clean, dry skin in upward circles, but it does not say how to, or if you even should, remove the product. i use the product in the shower and rinse it off my face. Not sure if I should be wiping it off with a tissue or something instead.
