Poor quality control
I ordered a size 6-7. They arrived and say 6-7, but are a good inch shorter than the other pair my son has had since last summer. My younger son will be able to wear them, but my older son is the one who needed the shorts. I have had success with Primary products many times before, so this was disappointing.

Love the shorts. My last purchase of four pairs were great except one Khaki size 2 was clearly mis-marked as it was larger than the size 4’s I also purchased. My daughter had already removed the tag so we could not return them.

Runs large
These run larger than the Primary stay cool athletic shorts. My 6 year old son is tall and slim, and he's too tall for the 6-7 Primary athletic shorts (they bunch in an uncomfortable looking way when he sits). However, the waists on the 8-9 chinos were huge and I had to set these aside until next summer. The quality seems fine, but may not be a good match for a tall, slim child.
