Kids' BedBox® 19-Inch Ride-On Carry-On Suitcase

I purchased this after a friend recommended it before we moved internationally. This suitcase was a game changer. My 9 month old was able to sleep in between myself and my husband on all of our flights. I brought a crib sheet to cover the padding (which I’m very glad I did) because my munchkin is super messy. This made it easy for her to eat and for us to do diaper changes on the plane. Highly recommend!

I ended up returning this. This was not Stokke quality. For the price of this items, I expected something that would last. After one trip, which included 4 flights, this product already didn't close right anymore. The pull strap constantly came undone. And it is very lightweight, but that is because the plastic is so thin. The best use was for my kids to ride around on it during the layover. But to carry this around as an extra piece of luggage, it was not at all worth the cost or hassle. This cannot be stored under your seat, so you must get it from overhead during the flight. I can't imagine this lasting 4 more flights before something completely breaking on it. I love Stokke products, but this did not feel like one. I'm disappointed I didn't love it as much as I thought I would.

What a great find! We traveled with our 5 year old to Breckenridge, CO and this case was a life saver. I would post photos but Nordstrom does not provide the option. The case comes with instructions that are easy to follow and fun stickers that we were able to personalize the case. Fits perfectly under the front seat of the airplane making it very easily accessible. Light enough to carry around when we filled it. Has the same storage amount as a traditional toddler/ children’s small suitcase. My daughter LOVED riding on it and I loved the fact that I wasn’t fighting to hold my child plus my carry on and hers. Easy to pull and wheels glide nicely on different types of floors. Extra bonus points that I was able to walk fast in the busy airport as she was cruising behind me on her luggage. Talk about turning heads, we had children and adults screaming “I want one of those” as my daughter rode on top of the case in the airport. I can’t even start to state how many moms stopped us to ask about it and requested we demonstrate. So why the 4 stars... the strap that is used to pull the case kept coming apart. I had to constantly keep putting it together. Also the strap is not long enough for a tall adult. I’m 5’5 and worked for me, however my husband kept complaining how short and uncomfortable it was for him to pull. The sleeping option is good maybe for a 2 year old, max. My five year old was too tall for it and my 2.5 year old twins were too tall for it as well. However they were able to put their feet flat as they sat. Overall I highly recommended.

We LOVE these suitcases, makes managing 2 kids solo as the adult much easier and makes a long late night flight more comfortable for a 3 and 5 year old. That said, with the second use since purchase a wheel broke while riding in the airport- causing meltdowns from the tired 5 year old who suddenly couldn't ride his suitcase. And, the mechanism broke on the 3 year old's suitcase in the same way as other photos in these reviews show. My rating maintains because these really are such a brilliant product and the empowerment for the kids is great. Well designed in many ways, but shoddy mechanisms and wheels really does kill it.

We bought this for our 4 year old granddaughter for a trip. She looooved it! Used it in the airport and on the plane for a nap.

Seems made a bit cheaply. The button broke after 1 use, and the top does not fully go down. Bought for my son to sleep on our 10 hour flight to England and the bed option worked fine. I just am disappointed I paid $199 for something to break after 1 use.
