Walking Coat

This coat is very nice and stylish. Other reviews stated that the coat ran large and you should order a size down. I did not find this to be true. It’s very tailored and I felt it ran slightly smaller than true to size. I returned it and reordered it one size up and am satisfied with it. The buttoned up collar will keep you warm in cold weather.

I purchased this coat to wear to the artic in January. With layers it was adequately warm, but within two weeks I noticed significant pilling along the inside of the arms and along the sides. The buttons are coming loose. Very disappointed, I won’t get but this one winters use of a heavy wool coat

This is a cherry red, heavier weight coat. It is thoughtfully designed with slimming lines and appears to be well made. I'm 5'2" and a reliable size 12; the large fits well over a midweight sweater and pants. The coat's hem is just above my ankles -- true maxi length. Unsurprisingly, the sleeves are too long & will need to be altered. One caveat: there's a small tag sewn into the lining that advises the wearer against light-colored clothes. It seems the lining's red dye can rub off and discolor pale fabrics. Be forewarned!

I’m here to say this coat runs true to size. It does not run small, as many other reviewers have reported. I am 5’0” and 95 lbs, I ordered the XS and it was a perfect fit. Unfortunately, it was still too long in the sleeves, torso and length, the usual problem areas for us petite gals. For that reason I decided to return it but it’s a beautiful , high quality coat, especially for the price! I recommend for standard sizes.
