Island Boot (Women)

Just discovered this brand. Didn’t realize I ordered a wide ( Nordstrom lets you select the width on the same landing page for other KDB styles) but happy with fit so sticking with it. Took these on a business trip and walked miles in them. Incredibly comfortable footbed. Looks great with skinny and wide leg pants. Incredibly versatile. Going to buy the other color!

The leather on these boots is absolutely dreamy- it’s like you’ve been wearing them for years- it’s super soft and not stiff whatsoever. As a woman over 6 feet tall the heel isn’t too high or too short and the opening at the back of the shaft is great if you have larger calves or ankles. I usually wear regular width shoes even though this is a “wide” width boot.

As others mentioned, these boots have the softest leather and are super comfortable. They’re perfectly TTS except for the width - unless you have a notably narrow foot, purchasing a “wide” in your standard size will give you the best fit. Also, for those like myself with very high insteps (the top of your foot), the leather at that spot will give with wear and is not uncomfortable. Very happy with the KDB Island Boots!
