Kelly Corset Midi Sundress

Okay reviewing this as a curvy girl bc I feel like I don’t see enough reviews for House of CB from people with my body type. 5’6” 205lbs C cup with a 36” waist. I purchased an XL A-C. It was a pain to get on, like my boyfriend had to zip me in, but once it zipped it fit like a glove! Could stand to lose a 1/2”-1” around the waist/ribcage and it would fit a little more comfortably, but all in all it’s a beautiful dress that I would 100% buy again.

I bought this dress for engagement photos. Though most of them the dress looks beautiful, there was one spot on the dress that the fabric didn’t lay right. See photos attached. It also runs a little small. I’m usually a small/medium depending on the brand and I had to size up to a large. I will also say, despite the two previous comments, it is a HEAVY dress and is amazing quality fabric.

I really wanted to love this dress and on some people, it's probably beautiful. I'm 5'4, 140-145 lbs, 34/36 C bust and I got a large, A/C cups. I found the dress to be of great quality and this size fit somewhat well, and I love the corset options and slit. It also has pockets! What I didn't find appealing was the puffy runching on the sides. As someone who has hips, I thought it made them look larger. The bust was also too big despite me being a C cup and I got the A/C (maybe mine was mislabeled?). I had to use padding to make it work and felt that it was very low on my bust. If you want to be more modest, this dress is not for you! Overall, I think it will look better on someone who doesn't have huge hips like me but for some reason I still like it. It sucks you in and makes you feel pretty and very feminine.

Very thick, heavy, buttery soft fabric that has sateen sheen. Why they would call this a sundress is beyond me because it is not breathable nor light. It would be the perfect fabric for winter. I am normally a size six, but the large was the right size. The cup had no structure though so unless you have oversized breasts it won’t fill out in an attractive way. ultimately returned because it’s too heavy. Corset is nice part of design but doesn’t actually add additional snatching.

Saw this online & knew I needed it for engagement pics! I went in person first to try on similar styles because Ive heard this brand runs small. I will say, it takes another person to help zip you in but it fits like a glove. Makes you feel feminine & snatched!! My only complaint is that the dress smelt horrible.
