Sturdy boot.
I purchased these to wear during the summer because they are vented. I have flat feet and my left ankle rolls in too much and causes pain in my knee and hip at night. I have inserts to keep my ankle upright but needed a sturdy boot to support. It took a couple of days to adjust, but after that all of the pain in my knee and hip are gone. I bought these for every day use and have had them for maybe three weeks. I am very pleased with them. They are light weight and comfortable right out of the box.

Bummed
Sole has dettached on both boots, just a little over 1 yr old. . Never hiked or worked in just normal " shoe " use . . .
I have been buying Keens for ys as my foot is flat and wide. Keen are 1 of the few boots my foot bottoms are comfortable in. .
I may have to begin looking at done competitor brands ic this is goingvto be the new norm w/ keens. .
I attached photos so the condition of the boot exterior and sole wear can be seen. . . .

OK, what happened to the insoles?
I am not kidding when I say I’ve owned at least 20 pairs of these. The last pair I got it looks like they’ve changed the insole padding now my foot slides around inside of it no matter what sock I use. Believe it or not. I use these for work because it fits so well my walk about 240 miles a month great shoes but after the last couple, I’m not sure I’m not gonna look for another style.

Treads Are Peeling Off
This sounds similar to another review from 4/30/25. My treads are peeling off at the heel brake after only 10 months of use. It appears the glue has failed where the hard outer rubber tread attaches to the softer cushioning rubber. Every other component of the boot is in great shape and holding up well, but not tread.

DELAM
This is my second pair. They are bulkier than my first. The first pair delaminated after a few years which I thought was fair. But my second pair is coming apart after 1. 5 years with normal use. I will not buy these again.

THE BEST general hiker
I've tried a lot of different options, and Voyageurs are THE BEST all-around hiking boots. For hiking you want a snug fit in the ankle, heel, and instep, and a bit of roominess in the forefoot and toe box. In Keen-speak, that is what "original fit" means. As the miles go by, your forefoot spreads out and needs some room. Shoes build on the running shoe last just do not cut it for hiking, even if they work for you on the sidewalks in your neighborhood. Voyageurs have THE BEST combination of "original fit" and ventilation. They are not offered in a "waterproof" version -- if that's what you need or want, I suggest the Targhee IV: slightly heavier, slightly less flexible, but very close. The Targhee IV is offered only in "waterproof", for which you pay a price in ventilation. If you are planning a week-long backpack, and the heavy pack to go with it, then you might need to move up to something heavier and stiffer that the Voyageur or Targhee IV, but for anything less than that, follow my advice.
