Elle Backstrap Sandal

Buying these for a summer vacation with lots of walking and light packing. These will definitely fit the bill. Comfortable supportive, can dress up or down. However on first buy they ran a touch short. I'm usually between a 6.5 and a 7. Purchased a 7. Will exchange for a 7.5.

I really like the style and initial fit. I wore them whilst on a trip where I wanted to wear something besides sneakers. I got the 8. 5 wide since I have flat feet and I don't want my feet spilling out of the edges. When I tried them at home they fit perfectly but after wearing them for a few hours, my toes started to slide forward and they'd be off the footbed. So I had to grip my toes to keep them on the footbed. It made it unnatural to walk. Besides that they were comfortable. Id probably get a 9 next time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have three pairs of these shoes: black, dusty olive and birch. The newest pair, the birch, does have a stiffer back strap than the other 2 purchased previously, but is still comfortable. QUESTION: What is the best way to clean these? It wasn't an issue with the other two pairs; however, I already have a spot on the front strap of my light colored birch and am not sure how to get it off. See photo.

The soles are great. Very comfortable. BUT these rubbed blisters just below my inner ankles where the back and front sides come together. It’s very hard leather there. Ouch 😭
