Love Them!!
I've wanted all white sneakers for a while now and was debating between Converse or Keds. I ended up picking the Keds over the Converse because I found them to be a lot more comfortable and they're really cute ahah
I love how they look and feel (so lightweight it doesn't even feel like you have shoes on).
I would definitely recommend these to others

Not the originals
If you wore Keds in the 80's or 90's, you will be extremely disappointed in the current quality of this Keds. They feel and are made like the generic ones in days past! Sad to say, I won't ever buy again:(

Beware of sizing!
I purchased a pair of keds in size 9 about two years ago––they fit perfect. They had white terry cloth lining rather than the navy blue lining that today's keds have. When I tried on these keds in a size 9 they were HUGE––I could fit at least two thumbs at the front between my toe and the end of the shoe. I decided to order a full size down. The 8s are a tad small (too small for thick socks), but I plan to wear them mostly without socks. For reference, my old keds in size 9 are about 26.5 cm long, and my new keds in size 8 are about 26 cm long. My advice is to order a half size down if you plan on wearing them with socks and a full size down if you plan on wearing them without socks. A note on width: the medium in today's keds are much narrower than the medium in the older version of keds, so you might want to consider ordering wide if you have even a slightly wide foot. They are quite comfortable, though, once you get past all the sizing issues!

New all over again
After looking at the $100 "stylish" tennis shoes, I decided what I really wanted was a new pair of Keds. They are cute, not bulky, fit well and wear well. And, I like them! I really am not comfortable in platform sneakers. Sort of defeats the purpose of comfort. So, yes. Here I am back in the 50's and happy as a lark.

I liked the Vans better
Now that Nordstrom has most of their shoes online, it becomes difficult to actually compare brands. If only I could have sat down in the shoe department and tried on all the basic sneakers! I would have selected my favorites, bought them, and carried them home. My personal shopper had to order all my shoes online, I had to sit down at home to try them on, select my favorites, and then return the rest to the store. This is progress? I can see Nordstrom is able to offer a much wider assortment with their online system, but unless customers keep buying the exact same brands that fit their feet, there will be a huge number of returns.
I returned the Keds. Absolutely nothing wrong with them. I just liked the fit and the look of the Vans better.

walking shoes for Europe
I wanted tennis shoes that would be comfortable for touring Europe but still cute enough to wear with long jeans...so I don't completely stick out as a tourist. Regular work out tennis shoes look terrible with jeans, let's be honest. These are so cute in the grey (charcoal in person) and they go with so much! I was between these and Toms and these are way more comfortable and supportive of a small arch. I got the no-show socks from Keds and Under Armour to wear in them. I started wearing them early to "break them in" which was unnecessary, no blisters from day one! Runs true to size, I wear 8 in steve madden, jessica simpson & gianni bini and this size 8 fit too. I highly recommend them for cute walking shoes. They go with skirts, shorts, jeans, and always look cute (not frumpy). I liked them so much I got a black pair and returned the competing black Toms. Keds....who knew!?!?
