Kayleigh Pleated Faux Leather Midi Skirt

My first impression of this skirt was that it’s a timeless, sophisticated piece that instantly elevates any look. I purchased a size 2 (I’m 5'4", 140 lbs), and it fit well. The silhouette is fitted through the hips before gently flaring out, creating a beautiful, feminine shape. The length hits around mid-calf, which still feels classic and flattering. Because it’s faux leather, there is a generous amount of stretch, and it will continue to give with wear. I chose to size down because I wanted a more tailored fit without it looking overly tight. I usually wear a size 4. The reason I’m giving it four stars is the fabric structure. While it lays smoothly through the hips and back, the flared portion is slightly stiffer than I would prefer. That said, I understand that the added structure, helps the pleats hold their shape and keeps the skirt voluminous rather than falling flat.
