Perfect feminine bag!
This bag is so beautiful! It is small but holds a lot!! I can definitely fit my nylon Longchamp top handle pouch inside, a large continential wallet, iPhone, keys, eyeglasses, with some room to spare.
The handles are meant for hand carry only since they're so short. Luckily, it has a long strap so you can wear it crossbody. I have the strap on my lowest setting and the bag hits my butt. I am 5'6" with a slim figure. The purse closes with two magnetic tabs. I wish they were a wee bit stronger but at least they don't pop open easily.
The leather is super soft and beautiful. It is sooo girly and I love it! I have the pink color and the shade is a light, almost pepto pink. The knot gives the bag a feminine touch. I am so happy with it and can't wait to wear it with dresses! I highly recommend it.

Cheaply made, loose threads
I purchased this bag 3x. The first 2 times it arrived with defects, so I returned them. The 3rd time, I purchased it in store. After a few times of use, the threads kept fraying and sticking up and out, at the top of the bag so it was quite visible. Upon inspection and knowing something about sewing, I noticed that the interior fabric lining was sewn to the bag without being folded over on itself, done very unprofessionally. The seam of the fabric was NOT folded in on itself and then sewn, so as to prevent loose threads from being visible. Instead, the raw edge was sewn to the leather directly, with no thought to loose threads then fraying out and sticking up out of the bag. I had paid $380 for the bag. The price was not justifiable. I'd expect a bag priced $20 to be sewn the way this one was sewn. I have been a fan of Kate Spade products my entire adult life, and have many KS bags and sunglasses. Unfortunately, quality of Kate Spade products have really declined in the last 10 years. Thank goodness for Nordstrom quality service--they took the bag back and damaged it out. I LOVE Nordstrom!

Why doesn't Nordstrom carry this tote in black?
Both Milk Glass and especially Coral Gable are impracticle colors. I looked at it in a Nordstroms. It is a really pretty bag in a good size for everyday. I know it is made in black. This is a bag I would carry year round in black. In my opinion It is too expensive to buy to wear with just a few outfits. I will have to purchase it some where else.
