'cobble hill - tenley' crossbody bag

Nordstrom's wonderful staff of customer service people helped me find this great bag and I ordered it. This was fantastic! It easily holds my essentials - I do not like huge bags as I seem to misplace my necessities in them! Also, they are cumbersome and bulky. Kate Spade did it just right - compact, yet with room enough for sunglasses, readers,, phone, keys, cards, etc. - all in a small package - remember ladies, great things come in small packages!:)

I hate carrying around a heavy purse and this little beauty holds everything I need. So well made. Such nice leather. I travel constantly and I love how it slips into my carry-on, then can be used all through my trip. Even on a crowded Metro in Paris, I'm not worried about being pickpocketed. I jettisoned my big wallet for a little card case so it now holds everything. And best of all, when I wear it to a restaurant, it's so comfortable across my body, I forget it's on me and don't even have to take it off. Best. Purse. Ever!

My mother bought me this bag (in black) last christmas as we were sporadically spending bits and pieces of my budget throughout each department in Nordstrom of Scottsdale, AZ. This was by far the best and most useful christmas purchase I have bought in a while. In the past year, this bag has accompanied me on vacations, dinners, coffee runs, and everywhere in between. The cobble hill - tenley crossbody bag, small, is the perfect sized bag to throw on with any outfit for an occasion. I have received many compliments on this bag and continue to recommend it. You will not regret this purchase. Love this bag.

I don't know if I've just bad bad luck or what. I purchased this bag and the zipper would stick at the start of unzipping it and it wouldn't unzip/zip smoothly. I exchanged it and had the same problem. I tested the zippers of 3 bags at Nordstroms later, and they all had this issue. The side zipper is fine. Therefore I would NOT recommend this bag :(

I was looking for a bag I could take that could hold what I consider to be the bare minimum for an evening out or a day of tourism. This bag holds more than you might expect (I managed to stuff in a phone, kleenex, credit cards, cash, lipstick, and a small bag of gummy bears.) I have the coral purse, and it's a lovely coral--rich and bright. The leather is high quality and supple. It has two zippered pockets (one on the top and one on the side) and a small pocket inside that can hold credit cards. I was very pleased with the purpose, and it fit my needs perfectly.

I got this in the Nude color, and it's beautiful. Buttery soft leather, love the gold hardware, not too much unnecessary embellishments. Simple, functional, and classy. Unfortunately it's just a touch too small for my intended purposes - daytime travel. It DOES NOT FIT AN IPAD MINI. I take my iPad everywhere with me (at least during the day). It is big enough for a wallet, phone, and a few essentials. (I also ordered the larger "Ellen" crossbody, and that fits the iPad Mini plus lots more.) It's a great bag if you tend not to carry too much with you, or will make a nice casual night out bag. I'm still debating if I will keep this one, as I do love it, but I tend to go with dressier bags for night.
