Multiple purchases because it works

This is the ONLY eye cream I have used that gets rid of fine lines and wrinkles. Obviously it is because of the retinol. It takes about 6 weeks to see results with retinol, so all the people who said they used it and they didn't see results the next day - this is why. This cream is gentle enough for me to use night and day on my lower and upper eyelids. The silicone gives it a little slip so you don't end up tugging at your delicate eye skin to apply it. I put about a grain of rice size bit around each eye in the morning and again at night. Then I use a moisturizer on top to moisturize. This product is not intended to be a moisturizer. Then I apply my sunscreen all over my face and let those absorb for about 15 minutes before going in with my makeup. Fabulous!

All my skincare is from Kate Somerville's line. I tried this retinol under the eye serum because the eye line release was not giving me enough moisture, I thought this would do the trick. I do not have sensitive skin, allergies or have never had a reaction to anything. This product, after using it 4 times, caused tiny red bumps around my eyes. I have no idea what caused this because I do use the retinol treatment moisturizer every other night by Kate all over my face. No sure what else is in it, but have to take a pass on this product.

Dimethicone

I was given a sample of this Kate S Retinol eye cream. After trying the sample for three days and had no adverse reaction, today I purchased the eye cream. Noticed when using it in the full-size, the feel was "different" and take a look at the ingredients and dimethicone is number two. No wonder there is a weird feel to the eye cream. Normally, I wouldn't do any product with dimethicone listed as number two (maybe number six or seven) but around the eye area the pores aren't as large to get clogged with the silicone. Will update in a month.

Kate Retinol Eye Cream: Synthetic

This has a silicone, synthetic feel, likely dimethicone, as it slips on. Doesn’t quite absorb into my skin like a cream. Have seen some red bumps in eye zone after using a sample, unusual for me, could be pore clogging from this.

Definitely the best eye cream on the market!

I absolutely love this eye cream. As a contact wearer, I have to be extra careful with eye cream since most brands (even the ones that cost over $400; no mention names) irritate my eyes. This product not only works on minimizing the fine lines, but it also doesn’t irritate my eyes. I use it twice a day and after about a week I noticed a difference, especially on the under eye area. Highly recommended!

This. Works.

66 year-old woman here. I don't write many reviews, but in this case, I have to. This product has, in a couple of weeks, smoothed out the area around my eyes in an amazing way. It's absolutely great - and I don't know why I didn't start using it years ago. Highly recommend!
