High Neck A-Line Dress

I am 5’9 and have a really long torso, so dresses are always annoyingly short on me. I can never trust the photographs of the models wearing dresses, because everything is way shorter on my body. This one hits right above the knee! It’s also just really cute. I followed everyone else’s instruction and ordered up a size (5’9, 155 lbs, generally a medium so ordered a large), and it fits perfectly. Seems like something you can dress up or down!

Nice, simple dress, but as other reviewers had mentioned, it's very tight across the chest. I am 5'4", 113 lbs with a 32D chest. I usually wear between an XS and S in most clothing items. I bought the XS (because the S was sold out) and it was way too tight across the chest. A S, though, probably would have been too big everywhere else.

This LBD has all the potential to be a great dress BUT the very high neck is so uncomfortable. After slipping the dress on, I actually felt as if the neckline was compressing my airway. Perhaps the one-inch banding around the neck and sleeves contribute to this effect. Also, FYI-the armholes are cut-away which may not be evident in the actual photo. The fabric is a wonderful knit making this dress perfect for travel. I am 5'9" and the dress seemed long. I measured the dress from shoulder to hem and it was actually 40 inches. Overall, if a very high neck would not be bothersome, this dress may be a winner.

I have been so excited for this dress to arrive, but as other reviewers have said, it runs small!! I am slightly pear-shaped (size 4ish on top and 6ish on bottom) and typically wear a size 4 or size small in dresses (or get alterations). This dress fits me nicely on bottom, but the top is teeny--you could see every little line of my bra showing through the thin material. I'm hoping to try a size medium when it comes back in stock.
