A-Line Jersey Dress

I found this dress while looking for something to wear to a dinner at my husband's boss' house and it has turned into one of my favorite items in my closet. I've worn it over and over again - to work, to family functions...it is a great "go to" dress. I've also recommended it to two of my friends (that have very different shapes than me)...and they've had similar stories with this dress.

I love this dress! I have been looking for it all my life. You can dress it up or wear it just for comfort. I bought it for dance lessons, but will be wearing it for other occasions too. I like the feminine neckline (easy to pull over, no cleavage), reasonable sleeves (no need to layer) and flattering A-line skirt (making hips a non-issue). It seems true to size, but somewhat roomy in how it stretches. I have been wearing a similar dress (without sleeves) that cost me about $200 and never have been able to find a replacement. So I need about 10 more of these while they're still available. I even plan to add sequins to the neckline of one, and perhaps a layered ruffle to another. It seems like you can do a lot with this dress. So perfect!

I needed one light weight dress to take on a cruise for their formal nights. This dress with a set of pearls, sheer black hose, and colorful shoes was just the thing. The loose waist was great for the 4 desserts and if I spilled anything, all I needed was a damp cloth. I'm looking at other Karen Kane dresses, would love this in other colors.
