Kamsee Slingback Pointed Toe Pump (Women)

These sling backs are so pretty, go really well with a pair of jeans (straight, bootcut) but also with a cocktail dress. So far I’ve only worn them once and I have to glue the sole at the toes as it has bunched up and came undone, which is truly disappointing. I don’t know how long they will last in the long run, which is too bad because I really wanted them to be a Spring and Summer staple.

Ok let me start by saying this- I ordered this shoe 3 times before I got one that was of decent enough quality to keep. Since having 2 babies, my foot has grown and I’m now having to rebuild my shoe collection. Starting with the basics, I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect, neutral, pointy-toed block heel. (Within my budget- around $100, $150) I tried the Franco Sarto one and it was too pointy and narrow (I’ve got average, if slightly narrow feet). I tried a Donald Pliner and it was uncomfortable. I tried a Vince Camuto and the toe shape was great, but the sling back was poorly designed and didn’t stay up. All that to say, this one is a good neutral color for my fair skin, comfortable heel height, and the toe is not *too* pointy and uncomfortable. But I’ll say, the quality is not great. The first pair I ordered I was really excited about, but the right shoe made a squeak when you walked, so I returned it and ordered this shoe again. The second pair came in with a dark scuff mark on one point/end that looked like they attempted and failed to rub it out, so they got returned too. I’ve gotten a third pair now and am keeping them only because I’m so desperate for a nude shoe to wear that I can’t wait for anything else at this point. I’ll continue my search for the perfect nude shoe in the future.
