Knife cracked 13 mm into blade
The knife two years old. Cut a piece of salmon. The blade snapped and when I pulled the blade back from the cutting board there was a 13 mm crack in the blade. Poor quality. There is also dye or paint on the blade that were off. Don't like to think that it is tainting the food but it must be. DO NOT buy these knives.

Perfect purchase!
The sharpness of the blade right out of the box was perfect, weight distribution is immaculate. The blade holds an edge really well and the handle fits seamlessly to the hand.

Best knife I’ve come across
This knife has been terrific for my use. I needed something that would maintain an edge for cutting herbs for garnishing, and this has been fantastic. Even when needing to be sharpened, it is long enough not to cause any issues. The quality of this nice is unmatched, and I believe it’s one of the best pieces you can get without traveling to Asia. I’ve enjoyed my time with this piece, and appreciate the balance it provides. It’s not too long, but not too short, which makes it perfect for most tasks. When cutting meat, herb chop, or even cake, across the board it is fantastic. I struggled at first to sharpen correctly, but with time I was able to get a technique down, and now my blade is irresponsibly sharp
