Kaia Lace Trim Fit & Flare Minidress

This dress fits very small. I'm typically a House of Cb M. I'm normally 134 to 136 lbs, 92 cm bust, 72 to 74 cm waist and 160 cm height and I needed a size large for it to comfortably fit. I posted pics of the measurements of the dress to give you guys an idea of how small it is. I typically wear a 4 to 6 in contemporary brands. While I could zip and fit into the M breathing was rather difficult and restraining. This also hit mid thigh for me. The fabric is a decent weight and wasn't see through and it was lined. The lace up part is decorative. It doesn't let you loosen the dress since you have to zip up the zipper underneath it. It is lined though. It's also lower cut. Approx have to pull 1" down and you risk flashing. The style is nice and flirty though. I have kept the dress since its cute. But you need to get the right size

The sizing is way off. House of CB dresses always run small, but I sized up and even sizing up the dress was too small. If you have anything over a C cup this dress will not provide support. It barely covers my nipples. Any sudden movement and you’ll have a TT slip. So sad I had to return

The reviews about the fit are definitely accurate, the ribcage area is super tight while the bust and shoulder straps are large on me to a point that they are falling off. My biggest issue is that this doesn’t look the same as the photos, it almost feels like a costume. The skirt puffs out much more than in the photos, which looks weird. The pleating on busy area is clumsy and even a bit crooked. It reminds me of something you’d get off Shein, which is disappointing.

I've been eyeing this dress for over a year and when Nordstrom NYC started carrying House of CB, I was so excited to finally get to try it on. I'd been hesitant to buy online from House of CB because of the international shipping times, and with the reviews I'd heard about the sizing, I didn't want to have to wait on a return or exchange. I'm barely over 5'0", curvy, 125-130lbs generally, and the small fit my waist perfect while not being too short. I only wish it was a little shorter because it hits me a bit longer on the legs than I'd anticipated, but I can't help my stature lol. Love the corset back, the material is super high quality and it's a dress I'll use for years to come!
