In 1999, Gaye Straza created kai: a light, intoxicating scent of gardenia and other exotic white flowers. After years of avoiding perfumes, Straza created this soothing scent for herself, based on her experiences as a youth vacationing in the tropics. Originally offered only in Straza's exclusive Malibu fashion boutique, kai is now available to all in fragrance, bath, body and home products.

Wear a little Hawaii all year long...

I buy this for my wife twice a year. The bottle seems to last about 5-6 months. It is such an awesome fresh scent. Each year we go to Maui, and I always buy her a triple strung Tuberose Lei to be at the Hotel upon arrival, so this perfume is a perfect match to keep that Hawaii feeling lasting all year.

Beautiful fragrance

Beautiful fragrance, not overpoweringly rose scented, but quite lovely. One quirky thing -- the sprayer shoots out a stream instead of a spray -- perhaps it is just the one I purchased(?)

Have always loved Kai, this version with a Rose twist is beautiful. Will be putting in reg rotation.

So fresh!!!

Smells so fresh and clean! The floral notes are not too strong and overpowering. It’s my go-to everyday fragrance.

My daughter’s birthday!

The Kai cologne was my daughter’s favorite. I was worried it wouldn’t arrive on time. Her birthday was December 9 and was told it would arrive on the 8th. The cologne arrived 4 days earlier than expected. I was so happy!
