Variegated Rib Long Sleeve Midi Sweater Dress

The design is flattering and the fabric is nice. However, apparently there is no quality control with this manufacturer. The Medium is smaller and shorter than the Small, and both the Medium and Small in black are quite a bit shorter than the green version! I am attaching photos of the black Medium lying on top of the black Small, and also the black and green comparison. The green one in the photo is a Small, with the black Medium on top of it. ( Disregard how the colors look, they are true to how they appear on the website). The sizing and length variance is ridiculous!!! I only rated these "true to size" because it was required in order to post a review.

I am 5 feet 3 inches tall and weigh 122 pounds. I wear a size small. It was fine, but the top was very small without the right smoother. It turned into a very long maxi dress that was too long for my small frame that got bigger at the bottom as it flared out. The shape of the dress could not be worn without some type of body smoother. For a full-trumpet look, the dress's bottom had gussets. But the execution did not work. The material was not great, but it was fine for the price. Because the dress flares out and is long, I would have to wear it with heeled boots if I kept it. To try something different from the usual straight-looking sweater dress, the dress is quite an experiment. I believed this was a good thought, but it needed to be made better. This dress is not right for women my size or preferences. I do not recommend it, except if it's bought, shortened, and worn for errands.

I finally got this dress on sale after having my eye on it for months and I have to say it was worth the wait. It does fit slightly large but the polo neckline is super flattering on top and the length is just long enough but doesn’t swallow me whole like some midi dresses do. I’m obsessed with the color and will definitely be wearing this with tall boots to church and to special events.
