Bed Stu

Founded in L.A. in 1995 but inspired by the Brooklyn streets, Bed Stu handcrafts shoes and boots for women and men. The brand uses traditional shoemaking techniques like hand-weaving and hand-sewing, as well as natural leathers (from free-range animals when possible) and a vegetable-based tanning process, so each shoe is unique and imperfect but always genuine.

Amazing. I was nervous
Amazing. I was nervous to size up but per the sizing chart it looked like I should and it is perfect. Comfy with or without socks the leather is soft and moves with your feet. Looking forward to wearing them as often as I can and hoping the blue comes back in stock to order too. :)

HI Williana, We are sorry you experienced sizing issues with this style. We recommend you go up at least a half size from your normal size, as due to the style of this boot, many find that they do run a bit small!

Too large and stiff
I shouldn't have read other reviews stating to go up a 1/2 size. The boot is too big for my feet now. Also, the boot is REALLY stiff. I know the company states that they will break in; however, it hurt my pinky toe AND the shoe was even a larger size. I do not have large or wide feet either. I'm a very petite 5' 4" 114lbs girl. I got a size 7 and I wear a size 6.5. I would say, just go with your gut when buying these boots. I'm not sure if I am going to buy the 6.5 or not. Feeling how stiff these boots are. Undecided.

Beautiful craftsmanship
These boots are amazing. . I sized up upon other reviews, i take a 9 i went to a 10. . because I will wear socks with them. . therefore they are perfect. . if u wear thin socks,probably a half size up. . but they are gorgeous, i got tang black. . not yellow like the photo,more like a natural tan yellowy. . . they are unique, comfortable and I love them. . as most of my bed stu purchases

Great style, amazing quality
I had been looking for a new pair of boots with heels, and this style was perfect. The quality is amazing! They do seem to run a bit smaller than average so I had to go up half size for the perfect fit!

Will be back for another color!
Covered these for a while and jumped when they went on sale. Normal size fits perfectly and they are very comfortable. Hoping to get the blue if they come back in my size.

These boots are so beautiful! And very comfortable for a heel. I ordered a full size up, but maybe could've done just a half size up. But I'll keep these so I can wear thicker socks.
