Risha Metallic Floral Appliqué Detail Long Sleeve Crepe Column Gown

I wore this gown to Trump’s Starlight Inaugural Ball, a black-tie, invitation only event in D.C. The dress fit beautifully. I received a compliment on it from the wife of the CCO of the company I was with. It was a stunning event and my gown was perfect. I am 5’3” and the dress a size 2. The length was altered 2”.

This is a beautiful gown. It’s a perfect mixture of flattering structure and whimsy in detailing. I also feel it’s a dress that could be worn by a young lady or a more mature woman (I’m somewhere in between). I bought a size 14 and while it didn’t fit badly, the crepe material has a lot of stretch so I e decided to size down. If you are large busted (I’m 36 DDD) this dress offers very good coverage and has a pretty silhouette on the back that still allows for a classic strapless bra to be worn. The detailing at the arms is sheer but disguises any arm flaws you may feel insecure about and is extremely flattering for the shoulders. One reviewer mentioned it felt cheap, I disagree. The sheer material “net” like, but the beading is well done and it falls nicely. If anything, I think this dress looks more expensive than it is. If you are curvy, the ruching and the well lined structure of the dress will look really good, but the sheer top adds some fun that you’ll be hard pressed to find anywhere. I think this is a beautiful and unique dress that I plan to wear to a black tie wedding, I’m excited to exchange for a smaller size. I’ve never seen a dress like this!

This is a very pretty flattering gown. I originally found it at another department store. I tried on about 20 gowns that day in search of a dress for a wedding in November. I was battling between this and an all black velvet dress but I decided to go with this one. The compliments I got from other customers in the dressing room with this dress were amazing. This is such a delicate and feminine look with the details at the neckline and sleeves. I’m fair skin with dark brown hair. My skin was a perfect match to the peachy sheer part of the dress and it looked amazing against my skin tone, and it also helps my long dark brown hair not get lost in the black dress since I’m wearing it down for the event. I plan on wearing it with pearl earrings and a deep brick red lipstick for a pop of classic color on my fair skin.
