Named after Jupiter (Jove in Italian), the chief god of ancient Rome, this scarf features a striking large medallion print, reminiscent of the medallion-shaped mosaics that once adorned Roman palaces. The printed silk front provides a smooth, elegant finish, while the ultrafine wool backing in black adds warmth without the bulk, making it a perfect accessory for cooler days.
- Sized for a perfect drape: Approx. 12.5” x 70”, a size that is hard to find.
- Double-sided: We sew together a printed silk twill front with a fine, lightweight wool back. This results in a medium-weight scarf for warmth without the bulk.
- Versatile: The silk and wool combination makes a scarf that is refined, perfect for business attire, overcoats, tweed jackets and cardigans.
- Eyelash hem: The short ends are left open with an eyelash hem. This keeps the scarf from curling and looks fabulous, too!
- Pure luxury, naturally dyed: We use non-toxic vegetable dyes that preserve the silk's softness, free from harmful chemicals that can irritate your skin (and is better for the planet!)
