Cute Boots
These boots are just as cute as they can be! We’ve had no wet weather here in SoCal but I am ready! I did try them on. The advice for half sizes, “ Order down” worked for me. I can’t wait for rain.

Cute but terrible
I was super excited about these since they’re so cute, but my socks and feet were wet just walking thru a tiny puddle. I’ll keep cause they’re cute but I won’t wear socks otherwise they’ll be soaked.

Roomy & Well Made
First of all, I really do like these booties, A LOT. The reasons I did not give 5 stars are: 1.) When I took the fuzzy insole out, with my legs being shorter and stockier than average, the back of these boots rubbed against he bottoms of my calves and chaffed/left scarring (which was also made worse when I walked down hill in my very sloped back yard). 2.) I wish they came with a different insole that was not sherpa/fuzzy lining, as I am using these in my very dewy/wet backyard in Spring/Summer and it is warm. 3.) I do not wear socks in general if I can get away with it (my feet honestly don't stink/get sweaty, just hot). With the lining in these - black lining with white doggy bones - the black would stain my feet - I would say the first dozen or so times I wore them. Even if i wore socks, I imagine the socks would have been stained... Now, the reasons I really like these: 1.) They are roomy as most reviewers describe. I have a moderately thick/wide foot, usually size 8W or 8.5 or sometimes even 9 depending on brand. Birks I wear 38 and Toms I wear 8.5. These are comfy in 8 and give my feet and toes enough wiggle room to breathe (mind you, sans socks). 2.) They can slip on/off fairly easily, hands free.
(I am potty training a puppy, so that is an important feature for quickly running out the door!) My left foot is slightly bigger than my right, and sometimes I have to pull the left bootie on over my heel. They are soft and flexible, which makes the slipping on/off much easier and comfortable. 3.) Waterproof and cute design (and prints). They are roomy but don't look clunky to me. The thickness of the material seems just right for me - not too thick like some rain boots, but not flimsy either. The short style is high enough still to repel tallish wet/dewy grass. (With my shortish stockier legs, a half inch - inch shorter in the back would have probably been perfection.) Keep in mind, the "chelsea" style elastic on the sides is actually not elastic but just very thin rubber, finely ribbed on the outside to look like elastic. It is not stretchy but it is flexible. 4.) Really good traction and the right amount of cushion in the rubber sole for moderate amounts of walking.

Too big
I liked these except.....I think if it’s raining then rain would fall into my rainboots! The opening is very wide so I returned them.

Love Them
These Wellys are so cute and I am really glad I ordered them.
They are perfect for taking the dogs out in the a.m. when the grass is wet with dew, or after a rain. Easy to slip on and a fun look. Quality is excellent.
Fit: The sizing seems to run a bit large. I am a pretty solid size 9, which is what I ordered, but probably could have done with an 8.5 in this product. Just something to keep in mind.
Very happy with this purchase and I wear them daily.

Almost perfect
I do love these as I have been looking for something easy to throw on for rain and/yard work and they do the trick. I subtracted a star for a few things 1. I must wear socks and I can’t wear short socks where my ankle is exposed or they rub and I get blisters. 2. Most disappointing is after 5 months of wear the loop on the back of one pulled right off without too much force (in attached photo). For the price this should not happen. 3. I was worried about the shearling insert during the summer because it’s not removable. It’s not ideal but I managed. 4. The bottom tread is so tight in places it’s hard to keep “clean” and rocks out but not a dealbreaker. Even with this list of issues, I’d probably buy them again as I haven’t found anything better. I’d just wait for a sale if possible and not pay full price since they don’t seem to hold up.
