'Caspian' Sneaker

The photo doesn't really do these shoes justice. I saw them on display in a Nordy's store and thought they are really cute, while in the photo they sort of look like old man's sneakers. They are also incredibly comfy with good arch support both on the bottom and the inner side of the arch. With socks they felt true to size; without socks I could have gone a size down from my normal size, so keep that in mind if you like to wear shoes like this without socks. My feet are slightly on the wide side too and the shoes were a good width.

I ordered these shoes in my normal size and when they arrived they were too small. Please heed the warning and order a size UP. Usually I'm a 42 occasionally a 42 1/2 but almost never a 43. I exchanged these for a 43 because even though they run small, they are the cutest shoes ever! When I took them out of the box they were even better in real life than on my computer screen!!! I was a little worried the metallic color would look cheap rather than fun, but they do not look cheap in real life. They look fun and super cute. My boyfriend has been on my case about getting some cute shoes that are comfortable enough to walk in all day as most flats and heels really are not. I'm very excited about all the places I'll walk in these.

First a comment for size. I typically wear an 8.5 M in US sizing and a 39 in Euro, but always wear a 40 Euro in Josef Seibel which they call out as a 9.0 - 9.5 US. I must own a dozen pair of Seibel shoes and this is true in every style. This Caspian in denim blue leather is a great sneaker look. Lightweight, lots of room in toe box, nice snug heel and lacing adds stability. Maybe not as flexible as some others. I have had MS since college and as the decades go by I need shoes that are flat and stable but also want them to be cute to boot. As Seibel's always are. I often get "great shoes where did you get them" questions on the Seibel shoes. Like these.

I was so disappointed with these. I rushed ordered these to my house for a trip to Europe and they were so tight. (I wear 7 to 7.5 so I ordered a 38) So I rushed a second pair in the larger size (39) which fit much better. I wore them around the house for 2 hours before my trip and noticed they weren't as comfortable on the bottom as I had hoped. Took them to Europe anyway and the bottoms of my feet ached the entire time. If I could have found some better insoles before my trip they would have been better. I now just wear them running errands, etc. and they're fine. I will say that they are very cute and I love the leather shoe but maybe not walk around Europe comfortable. For the price, I expected a more comfortable shoe.

This shoe is perfect for the long narrow foot. I normally wear a 10.5 AA so I typically have to sacrifice length, width, comfort or style. Finally, a sporty gym shoe that doesn't look like I'm wearing the shoe box instead of the shoe. Width, comfort and style meet expectations. As many reviewers indicated, this shoe runs short so order the next size up. I assessed as 4 stars instead of 5 because of Nordstrom's failure to have the size I need. I opened my search to any color in a size 42, but there was no inventory. I do all my shoe shopping at Nordstrom, but sought this shoe elsewhere. This was the first time in years that I purchased a shoe at another store.

Well I had a great salesman. You didn't have my size in the Josef Seibel Caspian Sneaker, so the salesman called and found the shoes in your Chicago Store,and this was after trying two other stores !!! i was very happy he was able to find the shoes and he made the effort to look for the shoes.
