So narrow I could not
So narrow I could not get my foot into the shoe. All my J&M shoes are the same size, no problems.

Best shoes I've ever worn
I do not understand why these are canceled with nothing comparable to replace them. I've tried the hybrid but those are too slippery when walking on wet surfaces.

A Great Shoe, Perhaps No Longer In Production/ Be Sure to Apply Two Coats of Nubuck Protectant Spray
I have had many pairs of the XC4 Prentiss shoes. I like the style, choice of laces and light weight. My main problem with this very light color of Nubuck is that it marks up very fast, even after two coats of spray when new.
All of these white soled shoes mark up at the toe and heels and I have found that Mr. Clean Majic Eraser does a good job of getting the grime off. I ware an 8.5 D and the 8.5 with the first liner removed is a perfect fit.

I love the design and
I love the design and quality of the shoe. They are extremely comfortable. I purchased this shoe mainly for comfort as I have neuropathy in my feet and chronic plantar fasciitis.
My reasoning for scoring a four. I have wide feet and purchased the wide size. At the mouth of the shoe, there is a lining I don’t care for, which makes putting the shoe on harder. Maybe my preference, but I prefer shoes that slip on much easier. I have to use a shoe horn to get the shoe on.
