Narrow!
Fit is not accurate. I have been wearing J&M for literally decades and I am always a 10.5 M. I ordered that size for the McGuffy, but the shoe was too narrow (length was fine). And of course the company does not make this shoe in a wide. Not sure what is happening with standardization of sizes at J&M, but forewarned is forearmed.
