Love JM, but not this shoe.

It's a nice shoe, just not for the cost. Is there a leather welted sole that can be replaced? How does that hand painting hold up to normal shoe maintenance products? For the price point I'd be looking at Meermin or Beckett Siminon or Allen Edwards.. JM's Melton line is less expensive but a better made shoe. Also, this is a wholecut oxford not a plain toe..

Elegant shoe

Gorgeous shoe. I love the hand staining. It is a bit dark, almost black, but in direct sunlight, the color comes out.
