Dissatisfied
Way over-priced when similar quarter-zips made up with high-quality merino wool are readily available at much lower prices, such as those from Icebreaker, which I also own. The fabric on the John Smedley Tapton sweater is very thin and flimsy, and unsubstantial in appearance and in feel. Also, the sweater is noticeably short on me, I’m 6’2” in height. The Tapton barely covers my belt and does not cover my lower back. I’ve read comments elsewhere about Smedley sweaters being characteristically short. I’m returning the Tapton.

Perfect quarter-zip sweater, but fits closely
Superb product. Warm and close-fitting; can be worn over a long-sleeve shirt, but it's a snug fit.
