Cloying Overwhelming Fragrance
I love and wear several JM fragrances. Wood Sage and Sea Salt, English Pear and Fresia, Orange Blossom and Basil and Neroli are some of my favorites. I know Lime Basil and Mandarin is the lines signature scent and since I’d never tried it I thought I’d check it out. I guess it just doesn’t work with my body chemistry because it was absolutely horrible smelling. Like something a very elderly lady would wear. Very cloying and overwhelming. I had to immediately wash it off. My husband and adult kids also found the fragrance unappealing. Not at all the fresh citrusy fragrance I’d expected and was looking for. Very disappointed. Had to return.

great product. BAD packaging BAD description
So as you can doubtless surmise from the across-the-board 4.8 and 4.9 star ratings-- Jo Malone knows how to work scents. I am not here to critique the scent (which is lovely, spicy, vegetal-- not for everyone) but to gripe about the bottle.
It comes with no pump. (??!!!???)
Yep, this tiny little bottle of very expensive lotion… comes without a pump. Which means that you are paying 3 Hamiltons for lotion you have to coax, whack, or wait patiently to dispense. I am shocked that such a quality-oriented company would manufacture such a nice product in such poor packaging. Never dreamed I'd have to verify that there would be an easy way to get my lotion out of a bottle… Points off from Nordstrom too for failing to mention this in the description.
However, if this wouldn't bother you, an otherwise great product. And a big plug for Nordstrom customer rep who promptly made sure that I could get a refund. so 5 stars for the lotion itself, 1 star for packaging/marketing, 3 overall.

Jo Malone - My Favorite
I love Jo Malone. This is a new scent for me. I believe the scent is universal, can be worn by women and men. With that in mind, men should not be afraid to try. Shipping was quick. Nordstrom always provides the best service

Refreshing Scent for the Cold days ahead.
