Honeysuckle & Davana Cologne

A cologne that is more like perfume, Jo Malone Huneysuckle and Davana is a romantic blend of sweet honeysuckle, and a fougere called Davana. Although I'm a fragrance addict, I'd never heard of Davana before trying this scent. I was in a store buying out their entire stock of J.M. Frangipani, a fragrance I love and which was discontinued. While there, I spritzed a bit of Honeysuckle and Davana on and was immediately captured by the fragrance. I wore it out of the store but by nightfall I'd ordered a bottle online. At this moment, the honeysuckle scent is 3/4 gone and my first bottle of Frangipani is barely touched. It is sweet, so people who like white florals will like this. I think the Davana must cut the sweetness a bit, and it works in both winter and summer. If like me, you experience fragrances as matching weather, it is green and mossy for a rainy day, and bright and flowery for spring. The drydown is a bit mossy, but the floral doesn't disappear. Amazingly for a cologne, it lasts all day. After an hour or two the throw is gone and it becomes a skin scent, but all through the day, I get beautiful whiffs of scent. Really quite lovely and I will be purchasing a larger bottle-or two. I am always afraid of discontinuation of my favorite make up and perfumes! This would be a safe blind buy for those who like white florals, I think.
