I recently bought these luxury heels, my first time purchasing an item this expensive, specifically to wear to my mother’s celebration of life. Shockingly, after only three hours of wear, the shoes badly deteriorated. The leather severely wrinkled, and the corners of the shoe bed are becoming unglued. When I brought the defective shoes back to the store, the representative refused to process a return. I was informed that store policy prohibits returns on "luxury items" and was told to take my expensive, essentially brand-new shoes to a shoe hospital for repairs. I am grieving the loss of my mother, and this callous, unhelpful interaction was deeply upsetting. I spent a significant amount of money expecting a high-quality product that I could use for years, alongside the legendary customer service Nordstrom is known for. Instead, I am left with unwearable shoes and a terrible experience. As a long-time customer, I expect a company of your caliber to stand by the quality of the items you sell, regardless of the price tag. I look forward to hearing how you plan to resolve this issue.
