Cape Sandal (Women)

I LOVE Nordstrom and always hesitate to give a bad review. On the other hand, I look to other reviewers before making online purchases, hence I consider them important. I ordered these in two sizes in gold. I thought they would go with everything and would become my summer go to shoe. The fit was WAY off in both sizes. The gold color looks really shiny and cheap. I have many Jimmy Choo shoes that I've purchased over the years. I don't know if they have changed manufacturers or what. I am really disappointed in the brand and will stay away from it... What a shame.

The gold is gorgeous! The fit is small, as I usually wear an 8.5 or 9 and I had to go up to a size 40 in these. The toe strap seems a little stiff at first, but I learned from a sales associate to manipulate and roll it between my fingers to loosen it a little. The heel height even though nearly 3 inches, is comfortable for walking all evening. This sandal works with jeans or cocktail dresses. I love it and plan to get the other colors.

I went up a size and could barely get them on my feet. I returned the first pair and went up another size but they were still too tight and the toe thong was really uncomfortable. The loops to hold the straps put pressure on the side of your foot as well. I was disappointed because they are beautiful sandals and the footbed is padded. They might work if you have very narrow feet.
