Snow Doubt Platform Winter Boot (Women)

I bought these in a size 5 in the pink and black. They are so cute and unique for a heeled moon boot. Uhh Unfortunately compared to the flat moon boot in this brand, they are much heavier. The size of the shoe is pretty accurate, I am always a size 5. They are heavy and if you have skinny ankles, there’s little support, which wouldn’t be a problem except when you walk, it makes your foot feel like it’s sliding out of the boot. (It isn’t but that sliding around isn’t great) Everything about the actual boot is squishy/padded but the actual sole was much less padded than it could have been. You could do an insole but that may alter the size and doesn’t fix the fact the ankle area is wide and feels like your foot is coming out which could lead to sliding around and hitting the toe area on the front. For the price, it’s hard because they are cute and had the potential to be fairly comfortable for the height and the angle of the heel. Also if you get a light color I would suggest a stain protector because they could get really dirty fast especially if you actually wore them in snow.

So I purchased a size 6 black. I normally wear a 5 1/2 to 6 in boots and I have a narrow foot. My ankles and calf are small, too. This boot has a square toe box and is super narrow. I didn’t have on socks and it was tight! The calf is also narrow- Even with super skinny jeans on it was tight. I doubt this material will stretch anywhere. My recommendation is the size up. I’m going to see if I can get a size 6 1/2. The Boot is cute, but does not offer any water protection.
