I bought my pair in a size 7.5 but I’m a true 7, they fit perfectly & I was so relieved because they were sold out in 7! The calf part is very small but luckily I was able to fit them…. They are a true stable piece for my closet & I am obsessed!

A bit of an odd fit
I foudn the square toe to be strange. I am a size 8.5 and felt these boots made my feet look much larger than necessary. The leather is a smoother leather and is very nice, but prone to scratches. You'll need to buff them out if you don't like the scratch look. I found the calf area to provide a lot more room than some of the other boots from JC.

not wide calf friendly
Wanted to love these so bad but I couldn’t zip these over my calves :((( I didn’t think my legs were that big! I managed to squeeze and zip them up but it took a lot of effort and my calves were indeed suffocating lol. But the part around my ankles were so loose! They’re really good quality though and would look much more flattering on thinner legs for sure

Worn in devastatingly fast
I love love love these boots and I’m so sad about this. I’ve had them since spring of 2022. They were genuinely the most comfortable heeled boot I’ve ever worn. Cushy sole, chunky heel, little platform, and looked so fierce on. I would plan going out outfits in nyc around these boots bc I was comfortable walking all night in them. Plus working 8 hour retail shifts in them. But this last winter they started ripping at the seams both in the back around the Achilles and also down the front seam around the ankle. My shoe repair man won’t fix them because he doesn’t believe they’re real leather. For the amount of $$ I spent these should last more than just a year and a half. I recommend if you get them to make sure you store them with boot forms! Or stuff them with socks!

beautiful just as pictured
Soo sleek & chic. I love the rich brown color and the shape. They are almost 70s vibes but make it riding boot style. Anyway they are an EXACT fit. I am generally 6 and 6.5 in Nike. These in 6 fit exact almost a lil tight without socks. I'll prob just wear tights with them or knee high right socks but if you live somewhere cold half a size up for socks. I have another pair of JCs that fit exact/ tight like this but they stretched over time as they're real leather and I hope these do the same. I don't want to get too big of a size because then foot will not match my 5'2 105 lbs ratio lol. So worth the money ! They look the price

Calf area to tight
I really feel in love with this boots when I first saw them. Finally I got the chance to buy them, but I have to returned them. My calf’s are not too wide, but they are to tight on that area that cuts my circulation. For that reason, I can not keep them. But they are very nice !for woman’s with very skinny legs
