Janu Denim Midi Dress

I’m between a 4/6 in dresses and 26/27. The waist of the 4 was too loose by about 4” but the bust fit well and was the best part of the dress (I’m a 32c). It just isn’t anything special. Skirt feels too full and since the waist isn’t snug it’s not as flattering as I had hoped. Looked like a child’s dress on me. Straps were also loose. Denim had that nasty chemical smell that doesn’t come out no matter how much you wash. Would have kept if it was half the price.

I usually wear a 4 or 6. If I think something will be tight on my chest I size up. I ordered the 6 in this and it fit perfectly. The back is very stretchy so it's possible I could have sized down. The material is quality denim. Denim dresses can sometimes look too stiff, but the material is soft. Plus there are pockets.
