This is my second pair of the black Jack Roger’s. I hesitated buying them for a while because of the price tag. Well, about 8 or 9 years ago, I found this exact pair on clearance at some random shoe store and decided to give them a try. I LOVED THEM! They slightly form to your feet and are very comfortable. I wore out the first pair after a few summers. A year or two ago, I bought them again and (sigh) had to pay full price but it’s totally worth it! I saw a few other reviews that mentioned this not having a padded footbed and I want to comment on that too… around the same time that I purchased these from Nordstrom, I also grabbed a pair of gold Jack Roger’s with the padded footbed from Nordstrom Rack. The black ones without padding are MUCH more comfortable than the gold padded ones! The padded ones don’t form to your feet at all.

Elevated Summer Sandal
This is my first pair of Jack Rogers sandals, so I didn't know what to expect, I just have always liked the look of this shoe - I will say, I am happy with this purchase! I am a true size 6.5, which is what I ordered, and they fit. I did have to break them in before wearing them out, as it felt pretty stiff, and the strap between my toes was not very comfortable, at first. They now feel well adjusted to my foot, the base of the shoe feels solid, and I don't slip when walking on hardwood floors. I definitely recommend!

I really love the classic look of Jack Rogers sandals and every time I buy a new pair I think, maybe they have figured out a way to make them more comfortable. But they are the same hard bottom uncomfortable sandal from years ago… But boy do they look great with everything and give a really clean, classic look to everything you wear. If you can handle no arch support and hard flat souls, I wouldn’t hesitate to grab a pair… If you still want the look, just know that they are not comfortable for long periods of wear
