What it is: An alcohol-free formula that helps control oil and shine without overdrying skin.
What it does: Red microalgae effectively minimizes excess oil while providing protection against the damaging effects of pollution, while witch hazel helps dissolve pore-clogging residue, dirt and excess oil. Alpha and beta hydroxy acids help minimize the appearance of pores by gently exfoliating skin to remove pore buildup.
How to use: After cleansing, apply toner to dry skin with a cotton ball or pad and gently stroke over your face and neck. Do not rinse.

I love every Jack Black item I have purchased but unfortunately this one is a huge fail for me. I had a pretty immediate reaction in my skin- warm, red, itchy, etc. my face felt slightly swollen. The really unfortunate part is that this is definitely not an isolated incident, read the reviews of this product on their website and you’ll see that this is happening way too frequently for any product on the market. My skin is not sensitive and is very used to intensive acids and ingredients.

Best way to start day
This is excellent for the daytime. I have combination skin, but im bald so I am incredibly oily during the day. This definitely helps with the oil and helps with acne. My recommendation is to not use a cotton swab, put it on your face and press it into your skin. This is a must fir daytime.

Face red and burning
I don't have sensitive skin, but after applying this toner I feel my face burning. And it turns red every inch I apply the cotton pad.
I tried several times to be sure it was not only an issue of getting my skin used to a new product, and it continues to happen.
Now I don't know what to do with this bottle!

Love this toner
I have really oily skin and it doesn’t take long for my face to look greasy shortly after washing it. I think this oil-control toner does a great job reducing that oily look and feel. Plus the toner smells good and feels refreshing upon applying to face. I recommend this product.
