What it is: A powerful, multifunctional cleanser that washes away dead skin cells, pore-clogging oils and buildup. It firms, freshens and smoothes your skin with its formula that’s safe enough for sensitive skin but recommended for those with normal, combination and oily complexions.
How to use: Use morning and night as a cleanser: apply a nickel-size amount to wet hands, work into a creamy lather and apply to slightly damp face using a circular motion. Immediately rinse. For deep-down cleansing, use this cleanser to a purifying mask: apply a nickel-sized amount to dry face and evenly apply using a circular motion, avoiding eye area and lips. Allow to dry approximately five minutes. Rinse.

LOVE it!!
I am a woman and I LOVE this product!
I don't mind the smell a bit (someone commented that it smelled like "dirt"), it IS clay and ash so I suppose it's not going to smell like roses.
I got this as a sample and just bought the full size product.
My skin felt very very clean and soft after using.

Dirt
That's what this cleanser smells like. I could only stand to use this twice, the smell bothered me that much. It smells like mud. Also, I felt it left a residue on my face...... sort of slimy if you ask me. I've not had the best of luck with Jack Black products. If your looking for a cleanser I would recommend Anthony Logistics for Men Glycolic Facial Cleanser. It smells like grapefruit and cleans your face well without overly leaving it dry. Believe me, I've tried so many men's grooming products and this is not something I would ever use again.

Very Good Masque/Cleanser
I feel like a male review that is actually in depth is necessary for this product. I would consider myself a minor JB enthusiast. I have 4-5 or their products. This one is very good, but not great. To use it everyday on sensitive skin, I would be wary of that. I have extremely sensitive skin even before I shave. I have been putting this on for 5-10 minutes BEFORE I shower as a masque. It really seems to work better that way. I am 26 years old so I have very minor acne and some rosecea.
Once I put this masque on and rinse off in the shower, I immediately see my pores shrink. Also, I see my rosecea and acne calmed but not completely gone. That's why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. It's really a 4.5 star product.
Furthermore, yes they do have preservatives in it. But, for the most part the main ingredients are either organic essential oils or all natural (clay amd such). I love the fact it is fragrance free because "fragrance" in high quantities is very sensitizing and irrititable to the skin. I actually like the all natural scent with the mix of clay and essential oils. Feels very manly.
If you have oily skin and can stand to use it everyday, by all means do so. But, for me, it works really well (just not perfect) as a once or twice a week masque that rinses off in the shower.

Best Toning, Softening Facial Cleanser
I received a sample size cleanser as part of a beauty gift package. Although it's for men, I tried it anyway...and I AM SO GLAD THAT I DID! I picked up a bottle before I finished the sample. This facial cleanser leaving my skin with smooth, soft skin that I typically get after I used a facial mask or peel. So imagine that feeling EVERY night before you go to bed. Highly recommended.

Skin Saver
I was looking for a new daily face wash and came across this product online and ordered it. I was shocked after I began using this product as it left my face feeling fresh and clean. My complexion is definitely glowing and I use this as an everyday face wash for morning and night. I will definitely order this product again once my supply is out

Great cleanser
A little hesitant to due to it being in the men's products. But it's a nice size for the cost. My skin feels super clean after using. Doesn't lather up much but easy to use in the shower. I use it every other or two days. It's a bit much (drying) for everyday use for my skin.

Not just for men!
I got this as a sample and in one use, I felt my skin tighten up. I really like this and use it as a mask every night, leaving it on for 20 minutes before I wash it off. I don't use any other cleanser and my face/skin feels clean and tight and smooth but not dry. I know it's in the men's section, but women should try it.
