Perfect Work Dress

I loved this dress, and did in fact order it in a second color. The combination of the high shaped neck but the short sleeves and jersey fabric make this an all-season choice for work. This dress is very professional and versatile; you could wear it to court, to Capital Hill, to a funeral, to a wedding, depending on how you accessorized. The best thing about this dress is that it totally did take 10 pounds off--just as another reviewer promised. And it de-accentuated the size of my chest, gave me a little waistline, hid my stomach problems--who could ask for more. I would say that it runs a bit larger on top then the bottom, so consider that in choosing if you are between sizes.

Sending back

this dress accentuated the negative - it looked fine on top but pooched out at my abdomen and rear end - rather than slimming like some wrap dresses do - i am returning this dress

Great for work

This was much better than I expected from the photo -- I don't have much luck with wrap dresses, which I find tend to expose too much neck/cleavage, but the neckline on this one is relatively high for a wrap dress and it's completely appropriate for the office. Cap sleeves a bonus. The dark blue color is very pretty without being flashy.

Great dress, great fit

This dress fit perfectly, and I have often have trouble with dresses, which tend to run too small in the bust if they fit elsewhere. I also have trouble with too much cleavage showing usually. Not with this dress. It is a great fit, flattering for my less than perfect figure, and no problem with the cleavage. Nice quality fabric and well cut, perfect for work. I'll buy Suzi Chin again.

Sexy, yet classy

I''m a full-figured gal of ample bust size. You don't have to have the perfect body, but if you're in semi-good shape, you can pull it off with a pair of spanks.

Versatile and comfortable

This dress does a lot for my apple shape! I find the sleeves a little tight, but the waistline is lovely and the drape is great. The v-neck does not cut too low. I have worn this both with a fitted jacket and a shark-bite cardigan; both add to the comfort of a very short-sleeved dress in an air-conditioned office.

Would work well on smaller frames

I wanted to love this dress. The cut is classic and beautiful, the drapes both flatter and conceal, and the color (I got the purple) is stunning. Sadly, I underestimated how wide the shoulders are on this cut. You can see it in the photo, and it would look amazing on someone with narrow shoulders - but I'm very tall and have very broad shoulders, so unfortunately this makes me look unbalanced and like an inverted triangle. The length is perfect for a taller woman though. I'm 5' 11" and it hit me mid-knee, and I NEVER find that in dresses.
