What it does: Unlike most other mascara brushes that leave the first 1/3 of your lash roots bare, the groundbreaking skinny wand starts coating your lashes at their actual roots to create a beautiful, lash-lengthening effect and lays down black pigment between each and every lash for instant tightline eyeliner definition and the look of a fuller lash line.
How to use: Starting at the root of your lashes, hold the wand horizontally, then wiggle and sweep up and through your lashes from base to tips. It can be worn alone or under mascara.

Perfect for Fine Lashes!!
I tried the Tightline mascara after the brand I had been using was discontinued. I love the tiny wand on this mascara because it separates my fine lashes really well, leaving me with a very natural look...not clumpy or spikey at all. It also works great on my fine lower lashes.
For years I have used Lancome's CILS Booster as a primer before using any mascara. It guarantees that my mascara will stay in place all day with no flaking or smudging.
These two together are a winning combo for me!

Wow all of the negative reviews and I just discovered and loved this. I have skimpy blondish lashes and wanted a natural look. This fits the bill like no other that I have tried. I can only imagine how good the waterproof version was. Bring back the waterproof!!

AMAZING!
Great mascara brush! I have more control. I will use this as a base and it’s great for day wear. I will run a different mascara to fatten up the lashes but this mascara is perfect for day wear and for control, especially the lower lashes.

Love it but it can dry out quickly
I love the tiny brush. It really gets to those tiny bottom lashes and the base of the top lashes. I like that it “lines” as well without the intensity of liner. I have very sensitive eyes and tight line does not irritate my eyes at all. It is also a great first mascara for cocktailing. My only complaint is that is dries out quickly and then flakes.
