Isabeau Voluminous Fit & Flare Midi Dress

I previously purchased this same dress (Size Small, Cup D/E) directly from the official House of CB website, but it was too tight, so I returned it. I decided to size up and order the Medium with Cup D/E from Nordstrom instead. Unfortunately, the Medium from Nordstrom was way too big, especially in the bust area. Although the tag said “Medium” and “Cup Plus,” the fit was completely off—it was extremely loose around the bust and also a bit loose at the waist. Aside from the sizing issues, the condition of the dress when it arrived was disappointing. The fabric had strange raised circular marks—like bubbles—that gave it a worn or damaged look. I’m not sure if steaming or ironing would fix it, but it certainly shouldn’t arrive like this, especially for a dress that costs over $300. There was even a loose thread in one area, which is unacceptable for such an expensive item. The dress itself is beautiful, but the one I received from Nordstrom looked very different from the one I tried on at the official store. It looked like it may have been used, returned, or just poorly stored—definitely not the condition you expect from a new luxury item. Overall, I’m really disappointed. I expected much better quality and consistency for the price. It’s been frustrating trying to find the right size, especially when the Small is way too tight and the Medium is way too big. I hope this feedback helps improve quality control.

Absolutely LOVE this dress! Was looking for a "gown" and this delivered. Had tried it on in the store in my usual size (small) but it did not zip up. The style was so flattering, comfortable and high quality that I decided it was worth ordering a size up online. Fit perfectly! Also, it has pockets...fabulous feature in such a high-style dress. Chose it for a 200 person event I was hosting and received many compliments, including "looking like a princess". Highly recommend!

This dress is absolutely beautiful. It would make a beautiful wedding dress. Only problem is is. I’m slightly brighter in the chest, but not fuller so I was able to hook it but not fully zip it up but the material is heavy. Just kind of like a wedding dress would be, but I was looking more for something that I could wear to walk around and Barcelona so sadly I have to return this really beautiful dress.
